Is The Old Ma$e Back..

 Looks like Mason Betha might be coming back to rap.. with MMG.. this time no PG raps..

Ma$e's latest comeback attempt is getting a significant amount of attention, and with the release of Wale's "Slight Work" remix featuring the former Bad Boy rapper, Ma$e decided to speak to Funkmaster Flex about his return to recording.



"Flex, let me tell you something before I go, though," Ma$e said, "I can only do music if I can do it the way I can do it. That's what be making me stop. I don't want to do music in a box. Like everybody say what I can't do and he can't say this, but if you need me to come do something for you, I've gotta be able to come to that event. So I'm taking all the limitations off. They gonna have to pray for me. I regret not giving myself room for growth. That's what I regret. I went so hard left that I didn't really leave no room to be an individual, a human being. ... I still put God over music any day. I just didn't give myself room to grow. I went from one extreme to another extreme."

Ma$e..Omarion to MMG??

Rick Ross and Maybach Music Group could be adding two new veteran artists to their roster; former Bad Boy rapper Ma$e and R&B singer Omarion. With reports surfacing recently that Ma$e is working on a song with Ross, it is now being reported that things could be further along than just collaborating on a track.


A source within MMG says that, "Yes, I think its safe to say Omarion is MMG."

"I don't want to let no cats out the bag but we'll see what's good with Ma$e." the source claims. "As far as newest members Omarion and shout out to Ma$e if he wants to get down with this movement then we'll see what happens."

Wale "Sabotage" Added to 41 U.S.Radio Markets

Looks like Folarin this time around is geting his just due..

D.C. rapper Wale has the #1 most added record at Urban Radio thus far in 2012. The Maybach Music Group artist's Lloyd-assisted single "Sabotage" was successfully added into the rotation of 41 markets across the United States, including San Francisco, Philadelphia, Detroit, Baltimore, and New Orleans according to a recent press release.

Wale's 2011 album Ambition remains in the Top 100.


The rapper is prepping two videos and is also currently on the second leg of his "Ambition Tour." His single "Lotus Flower Bomb" recently reached the #1 spot in urban radio.

Dom Kennedy to MMG West??

I posted earlier that Rawse is expanding to the West Coast with his MMG brand...WELP...looks like besides Nipsey Hussle..he is adding Dom Kennedy. I was VERY late in the game with Dom and his moevment but I am slowly coming around. (I apologize) . This is one of the joints I liked from the jump.

He definately fits the MMG brand. Rawse is picking so great artist thus far..
