Looks like Roc Nation will be in the house in London this summer.
Superstars Jay-Z and Rihanna will be headlining the performances for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The Roc Nation affiliates will perform a month before the games for the BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend. Comedians Stephen Fry and Tim Minchin will also be among the stars performing across Britain.
“There will be absolutely something for everyone: from Beethoven to Jay-Z, from Shakespeare to Mike Leigh,” Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt said.
“The London 2012 Festival will be the biggest cultural celebration in our lifetime,” added Royal Opera House Chief Executive Tony Hall.
