Jay Z Speaks On His Relationship With The Barclays

Besides being part owner of the Brooklyn Nets (i hate saying that) BUT.. he also has a relationship with the arena.. Check out what he says about it.

Jay-Z spoke to Billboard about the upcoming performances at the lavish Barclay Center in Brooklyn and explained his future role with the stadium. Jay will christen the arena with a series of performances beginning tonight (September 28th) and continuing through October 6th.


"I pretty much have sing-alongs at the concert and I want to encourage that even more," he said. "It's like a gift to Brooklyn to have this, to all us Brooklynites, to have this arena and this team. We just want to celebrate this team since it's the first since the Dodgers...I have enough jobs, but they'll still ask my opinion on most things...[with future performance,] there's a little nepotism. Rihanna's on Roc Nation, so of course she's playing the Barclays."
