Janet Jackson In Kendrick's Poetic Justice Video??
First time I hear the track.. I knew it would be a hit and I said JANET HAS TO BE IN THE VIDEO *check my twitter* anyhoo.. looks like Kendrick is on the same lines of thinking.. Check it out..
Kendrick Lamar told MTV in a recent interview that he is hoping to get pop icon Janet Jackson to make a cameo in the video for his upcoming single "Poetic Justice" from his critically-acclaimed album good kid, m.A.A.d city. The song samples Janet's 1993 hit "Anytime, Any Place," and Lamar wants to work directly with Janet to make the video appearance happen.
"I would say 'Poetic Justice,' that'll be a good follow up single," he said. "That'll be a blessing [if Janet Jackson were to appear in the video]. Janet, c'mon, Janet. No paperwork with the managers, contact the managers. This is artist-to-artist. This is a young boy that looked up to you for years. Please, yeah, video, Janet Jackson 'Poetic Justice.' It'll only be right."
