Lloyd Banks Dropping Two Mixtapes Soon

Looks like the "Punchline King" will be dropping some new material starting off with a Gangsta Grillz with DJ Drama.

Lloyd Banks announced last week that he will be releasing a new mixtape, but it looks like the New York City "punchline king" is prepping two new projects for release. Banks is prepping the third installment of his popular "Cold Corner" series, but it will actually be the second high-profile release on his upcoming schedule.


Banks revealed via Twitter that he is also planning a new "Gangsta Grillz" project.

"To clear things up Gangsta Grillz up next!!" Banks tweeted. "Followed by Cold Corner 3!!"

50 Cent sounds more and more like a guy that could care less about his former G-Unit homies. The hip hop mogul spoke (again) about his relationship with longtime friends Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, and it sounds like he's all but washed his hands of his former sidemen.


"I actually haven't spoke to 'em very much. I'm to fault for that, though. I think I disabled them," Fif revealed. "I did so much for them that they don't have a continuous work ethic. They got both of those tapes out there, but did you see any visuals? Anything? There's certain things that the new guy is doing to create momentum or energy. They just sit there and wait. When someone works for you, you have the habit of dealing with things by not dealing with them. You may get in the regimen of coming over and doing it for them."

Lloyd Banks NOT on 50 Cent's New Mixtape

ehhhh.. I was looking forward to hearing to G Unit on this mixtape but it looks like that will not be happening..

50 Cent decided to speak about some long-standing rumors of estrangement from longtime G-Unit affiliate Lloyd Banks. ThisIs50 addressed Banks and his work schedule and 50 Cent revealed that, while his friend won't be appearing on his upcoming mixtape, things are fine with G-Unit and Banks.



If there are any conflicts, they're of the scheduling kind--not the interpersonal kind.

"Nah, he's not on the [upcoming Gangsta Grillz: The Lost Tape] tape," Fif said when asked about Banks' perceived estranged relationship with the Unit as of late. "I mean, he's been doing the shows so they've been seeing him. You just don't pay to go see his shows or hang out with him."

I hope it's no problems with these two.. Lloyd is nice as an emcee.. I dunno who these new folk Fof got but.. eh
