Young Money superstar Drake has been given a 2012 NCAA National Championship ring from The University of Kentucky basketball program. It isn't quite clear why this year's title team decided to bestow the hip hop star with a custom ring of his own, but some media outlets speculate that it may have something to do with Drake having performed at coach John Calipari's 2009 "Big Blue Madness" ceremony.
Drake has also been known to make appearances at Wildcats games in the past. His custom ring has a "DRIZZY" inscription on the side and was reportedly given to him directly by coach Calipari.
Drake has not commented on the honor--nor has the University of Kentucky.
