Sir Luscious Left Foot, aka Big Boi is back in the studio. I'm going to go out on a limb and proclaim that Big Boi is whipping up a quality follow up to his solo debut Sir Lucious Left Foot... The Son of "Chico Dusty."

General Patton recently took to his twitter to reveal the title, tweeting "Breaking News !!!!! Title of my album is called Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. Stay Tuned."


Daddy Fat Saxx plans to drop the sophomore effort sometime this year. He also tweeted about a prized collaboration for the project saying, "I gotta record I just finished with me @BIGKRIT and UGK all on one song.

Big K.R.I.T. Speaks On Being Almost Famous

K.R.I.T. opens up about what if he didn't make it..

Rapper Big K.R.I.T. has been one of hip hop's most talked-about new school emcees, but he has yet to release his debut album for Def Jam Recordings. K.R.I.T. revealed told Billboard that he almost gave up on his musical career two-and-a-half years ago.



"I didn't have the bread to pay my bills or really even feed myself,'" said K.R.I.T. "I felt it might be time for me to focus on something a little more secure."


K.R.I.T.'s debut, Live From the Underground is slated to drop June 5th.


"It was about learning more of the business versus just being radical," he explained. "When you get to see how the anticipation builds up until the point when an album comes out, it makes sense."

It lets you know to not ever give up on your dreams.. but you gotta have talent.. take that how you may..

Big K.R.I.T. Discusses "Praying Man" w/ B.B. King

K.R.I.T. said he had some collabos.. but NO ONE expected this one..

Rapper Big K.R.I.T. recruited blues legend B.B. king to appear on the track "Praying Man," and the Southern rapper says that the song was inspired by his grandmother. K.R.I.T. revealed that she was a huge fan of the legendary guitarist and he wanted King on the track in tribute to her.



"That record is probably like seven months old, and my grandmother was really one of the first people to put me on to B.B. King," he said. "It was kind of almost like a due to her, too, paying homage. This is somebody that you told me about, and she had like a big picture of B.B. King and he's playing a guitar and sh*t. Growing up and looking at that everyday, I just wanted to make a record [where] I could combine blues and Hip Hop. I did the record 'Praying Man' months before I ever got him on it, but I always [said], 'What if we could get B.B. King on a song?'"

I think folks might fast foward to this cut outta anticipation.. I know I might..

Yelawolf Talks Projects w/ Big K.R.I.T. & Shady 2.0

I always liked collabo albums.. I think they are starting to make a comeback. Check this out.

Yelawolf and Big K.R.I.T. fans are eagerly awaiting the highly-anticipated collaborative mixtape between the two rappers. The "Country Cousins" project has been in discussion for quite sometime now, and Yela told The Daily Chiefers that fans can expect a fully-developed project--not a tossed-off afterthought.


"We've been talking about that sh*t forever it seems like," Yela explained. "I just actually talked to K.R.I.T. the day before yesterday. We're both obviously down to do it, we're just always out grinding. I personally wanted to sit down in the studio and knock it out, but at this point, we might as well be doing an album. I definitely don't want to go and just throw anything out there; it would have to be the best that we could actually put together, and that doesn't happen often in a week. Sometimes it does…but it's hard to do it. Now, I'm growing more and more picky, too, about beats and songs."

Yelawolf also discussed the possibility of a Shady 2.0 compilation album.

"I know Slaughterhouse is working on some shit. Last I heard, that project is wrapping up and coming out," he said. "Of course, my project Love Story [we're] recording this summer…as far as the unit, us putting out a project collectively, it's a definite a possibility. But I can't really say when, where. The Shady family, we're all working out here."
