Lupe Takes Shots At President Obama

I swear this nicca's publicist should get PAID

Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco is known for speaking his mind and sometimes inciting controversy--and the passionate emcee once again set his sights on President Barack Obama and his administration. In an interview with Philadelphia's Power 99 FM's Mina SayWhat, Fiasco reiterated his criticisms of the President and his foreign policy.

"One hand, you have someone who is a great speaker, but kills little children - our president," he said. "I'm not talking about an accident--I'm talking about ordering a drone attack. Ordering drone attacks that go and kill mothers, innocent bystanders, children. Militants too, but the collateral damage. You're responsible for that, too."

"Drug dealer can say the same thing," Lupe said when asked if he thought these casualties were intentional. "I didn't mean to kill all the people in the restaurant. I was just trying to get that one dude who killed my cousin. Just so happened that that little girl was there. Same thing."

REALLY starting to not like hommie.. like forreal.. smh..

President Obama/Jay Z Town Hall..February 9th 2012

Fresh off changing Blue Ivy's diaper, Jiggaman has done it again.. linking up with Vevo to have a townhall with none other than President Barack Obama. Check it out... (shouts to atlnightspots.com)

Vevo is selling the opportunity for corporate brands to wrap their names around an interview with the President and hip-hop mogul Jay-Z on the popular video site. Vevo has not confirmed the announced the event, but sources say advertisers have already bought sponsorships. The offering gives a whole new meaning to money in politics.

Digital brands like Facebook and Google have garnered credibility in the political world by hosting interviews with President Barack Obama. But the types of sales offerings Vevo has made available to corporate advertisers in association with the event are virtually unheard of.

A Vevo sales deck obtained by ClickZ promotes sponsorships of an interview event with Jay-Z and Obama set to be held in February. The marketing presentation offers category exclusivity to four sponsors for the one-hour live stream, as well as an encore stream and on-demand content.

Sponsors are also offered “brand inclusion” such as ads on Vevo, social media outreach on Facebook and Twitter, and mention in a press release and other press outreach about the event sent to media outlets including CNN, AOL, and Rolling Stone.

The sales deck even offers sponsors the “exclusive opportunity” to attend the live event our sources say.

According to the deck, the hour-long live “town hall” will take place before an audience on February 9, 2012 exclusively on Vevo, from the East Wing of the White House, and will include a 30-minute interview with Jay-Z and Obama.

Let the campaigning season begin.. I know I will be front and center to see this one.. yall will too..  *throws up Roc Sign*

F.U. Jan Brewer

WTF.. and HTF.. SECURITY!!!!!!!!

shouts to atlnightspots.com

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer traded words with President Obama after she greeted him at a Phoenix airport Wednesday.

Brewer and Obama “spoke intensely for a few minutes” after he landed at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, according to a White House pool report. At one point, the GOP governor shook her finger at the president.

“He was a little disturbed about my book,” Brewer told a reporter after the incident, referring to her political memoir, “Scorpions for Breakfast.” In the book, Brewer depicted Obama as “patronizing” during an earlier meeting.

“I said to him that I have all the respect in the world for the office of the president,” Brewer said. “The book is what the book is. I asked him if he read the book. He said he read the excerpt. So.”

Brewer said Obama told her “that he didn’t feel I had treated him cordially.”

“I said I was sorry he felt that way but I didn’t get my sentence finished,” Brewer said. “Anyway, we’re glad he’s here. I’ll regroup.”

The last time Obama met with Brewer was June 2010, when the Arizona governor visited the Oval Office for a private, 30-minute encounter the White House called a “good meeting.” At the time, Brewer said the meeting was “very cordial,” but in her book she said Obama had been “condescending.”

During Wednesday’s encounter, Brewer handed Obama a handwritten letter asking him to sit down with her to discuss the “Arizona comeback.”

“I thought we probably would’ve talked about the things that were important to him and important to me, helping one another,” Brewer said of a potential meeting with the president. “Our country is upside down.”
Arizona was upside down.” But we have turned it around. I know again that he loves this country and I love this country.”
This isn’t the first time Obama and Brewer have disagreed. In October, a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit brought on by Brewer that accused the Obama administration of failing to enforce immigration laws or maintain control of her state’s border with Mexico.

This shyt is CRAY.. Imma let Hov and Yeezy speak on this one..
